From across great oceans , from
the shores of ancient England , from the city of Birmingham, from
the shire of Small Heath, from the very walls of the great building
itself, a call came.
Mulciber & Bellona, from their relief above the main arch
in the wall of the old building hath decreed that there shall
be a calling together of the BSA faithful to revel in the mastery
of the product of the artisans upon whom they had bestowed their
blessings for over 100 years.
Now , not being ones to take the commands of any deity ( real
, imagined or corrupted over the years ) lightly , the BSAMCC
of NSW is proud to announce the second , of the now annual , BSA
National Rallies , to be held over the long weekend , September
30 to October 2 2006 , at the Black Gold Country Cabins , Wallerawang
, NSW.
The aim of the event is to foster communications between those
who know and those who would like to know , so that the pleasures
and pitfalls of the use and ownership of the " Worlds Most
Popular Motorcycle "may be continued on down through successive
generations of the faithful of this wonderful nation.
As such the BSA National Rally is
open to any and all BSA owners , riders , or just enthusiasts
regardless of what, if any , club or group they may be a member
of or affiliated with. We will have events suitable for all classes
of Beesers ( including dirt bikes) provided that they are either
road registered or covered by one of the various special registration
systems which exist in all states.
The BSAMCC of NSW inc is an active
participant in the NSW RTA's Conditional Registration scheme and
by virtue of this invitation the Rally is a plateable event.
As the BSA National Rally is an
event organized on behalf of the combined Australian BSA Clubs
, the Australian BSA National Rally will not return to NSW for
at least another 4 years ( 2007 BSA National Rally hosted by South
Australia, 2008 BSA National Rally hosted by Queensland, 2009
BSA National Rally returns to Victoria ? ) so we would urge you
to take advantage of this unique opportunity to see the country
in the pleasant company of fellow Beeserphiles from all over the
nation.
Accommodation at Black Gold is mainly
dormitory style plus camping but there are no powered camp sites.
We are anticipating allocating entire dormitories to individual
groups where ever possible . The dormitories are fully self contained
with their own toilets, kitchens & lounges. Lunches will be
provided on the runs and evening meals will be available ( at
extra cost) in the separate dinning room , there will be entertainment
on Saturday & Sunday nights with a bar facility both nights.
The site has disabled toilets and showers in the communal toilet
block . Campers are warned that there is a good chance of fire
restrictions being in force if this drought continues.
Attendance can only be guaranteed
by prepaid application form and from these prepaid entries we
will be drawing up the accommodation schedule and list of concourse
categories. We envisage offering trophies for as many models ,
series of models, or year groups that we can provided that there
are at least 5 bikes in that category, after all the BSA National
Rally is a celebration of everything BSA. If the application form
is not available from this web site it can be obtained by emailing
to <bsansw@tpg.com.au> or by mail to BSAMCC of NSW inc Box
s-23 , Homebush South NSW .
