How , What , Where & Why

Please fill out the registration of interest form which will put you on the 2006 Australian BSA Nationa Rally email list for automatic updates as the date draws nearer. Unless you change anything once registered you will only need to send a confirmation with your rally number and application fees at a later date.

Your 2006 BSA National Rally application fee will cover up to 3 Beesas for the purpose of the concourse and rides. It will also include a meal at the welcome tent upon arrival , all meals on runs for the rider only, and a rally badge .

In order to reduce costs to the Australian BSA National Rally participants, pillion passengers and children will be free and will be able to purchase meal tickets if they are coming on the runs with you. And for the same reasons regalia will only be made to fill the orders that we recieve prior to the closing date.

2006 Australian BSA National Proposed Programme

At present we intend to have the site open from 12 am on Friday September 30.

There will be 3 separate runs (short , long & dirt) to Bathurst on Saturday morning for lunch at the National Motorcycle Museum followed by a concourse back at the site Saturday afternoon. The concourse judging will be by popular vote and all concourse bikes must be ridden to the concourse area.( no non running trailer queens please)

There will be an optional sit down meal on Saturday night and live entertainment with bar facilities.

Sunday morning there will be short breakfast run followed by the concourse presentations & photographs back at the 2006 Australian BSA National Rally site. After which there will be 2 runs ( dirt & road) to the Zig Zag railway for lunch. The train takes 2 to 3 hours to do the return trip so while the nippers & steamers are enjoying the train ride the rest will break into 3 ride groups ( short , long & dirt) for a 2-3 hour ride returning to the Zig Zag then back to the BSA National rally site. Again there will be an optional sit down dinner, music & bar .

Monday we are planning to offer another lunch ride which may be split into the same 3 groups depending upon numbers .

Where-ever possible the runs will be sign-posted with maps provided to the 2006 BSA National Rally participants and rally marshals will be in attendance.

A break down trailers will follow the road riders on each run ( but of course will not be needed) and if we can muster a suitable vehicle we will try to offer limited support to the dirt riders as well.

This is the first time we have offered an optional dirt programme for all of those 441's, B 50's , C15 T's and of course Goldies. Most of the dirt will be on public roads ( of sorts) so the participants must have their bikes covered by some sort of registration / permit pertinent to their state of origin. In order to facilitate the planning of the dirt sections ( there are some really challenging back roads out there) it is vital that potential participants in the dirt rides contact Peter as soon as possible.

We hope to engage the services of a professional motorcycle photographer for the weekend who will be available for individual sessions ( at cost ) as well as covering the event.

The 2006 Australian BSA National Rally Committee strongly recommends that all participants obtain comprehensive insurance for their mounts as when riding in unfamiliar territory with unfamiliar riders it is easy to be caught off guard and we are anticipating some rare & quite valuable Beesas to be in attendance .

Similarly participants should also obtain personal accident insurance cover for themselves as NSW has radically changed the conditions of the compulsory third party personal injury insurance over the past few years.
